What are the wrap and hinge areas on a KDP hardcover cover?
The wrap is the portion of the cover material that folds around the edges of the hardcover board (0.591" per side). The hinge is the narrow groove between the board and the spine where the cover flexes open (0.197" per side). Both are required parts of your cover PDF and must not contain important text or barcodes.
